Privacy policy

GPUFind (gpufind.cloud) compares published cloud GPU prices. It is run by Rahul Padalkar. You can use every price page without an account; an account exists only to issue API keys. This page says what we collect in each case, why, who else handles it, and how to have it removed.

Browsing the site

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read and which features are used. It receives the pages you view, your approximate location and device type as derived by Google, and how you use the site's tools: text typed into the search boxes (and how many results it found), the AI model names you enter in the model-fit and comparison tools, the inputs to the cost and rent-vs-buy calculators, the sorts and filters you choose, which explanations you open, and which links you follow — to a provider's site (which provider and GPU) or to a comparison. None of this is tied to your account. Advertising features are switched off: no ad storage, no ad personalisation.

In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics runs without cookies — it is told analytics storage is denied, so it sends cookieless measurements only. Elsewhere it sets Google's analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to tell return visits from new ones.

Our host, Vercel, processes the requests that deliver the site, which include your IP address and browser's user agent, and keeps short-lived logs of them. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers for them.

Links to providers carry utm_source=gpufind.cloud so a provider can see the visit came from here. They carry nothing that identifies you, and we are not paid for them.

Signing in

Sign-in is with Google only. When you sign in, Google tells us your name, email address and profile picture link, and that your email is verified. We use them to create and identify your account and to show you which account you are signed in as. We do not ask for, and cannot see, anything else in your Google account — not your contacts, mail, files or calendar.

Accounts are held by Supabase, our database provider, in its Frankfurt (EU) region. Signing in sets a cookie that keeps you signed in on this browser; it is removed when you sign out.

API keys and usage

An API key is generated in your browser and shown to you once. We store only a one-way hash of it, never the key itself, together with the name you gave it, its first few characters (so you can tell keys apart), when it was created, when it was last used, and whether it has been revoked or rotated.

Each request to the API is counted against your account's limits. We record which key made it, the day (UTC), and which tool was called — for example cheapest_offers — as a running count. A per-minute counter used for rate limiting is deleted after an hour.

We also keep records of API activity, including the requests made to it, to operate the service, understand how it is used and improve it. These are never sold and never used to rank prices.

What we do not do

Who else handles data

Each processes data under its own privacy terms, only to provide its service to us.

How long we keep it

Account details, key records and API usage records are kept while your account exists, and deleted with it. Revoked and rotated keys stay in your key list as a record, and cannot be used. Per-minute rate-limit counters are deleted after an hour. Google Analytics data is kept for Google Analytics' configured retention period.

Your choices and rights

You can revoke any API key yourself on your account page. To get a copy of the data held about you, to correct it, or to delete your account and everything attached to it, email rahulnpadalkar@gmail.com from the address you signed in with. Deleting the account removes its keys and usage records. You can also remove GPUFind's access from your Google account at any time in Google's account settings, under third-party connections.

GPUFind is not directed at children, and accounts are not intended for anyone under 16.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated.
